Couple of questions… I’ve bought the original nike zoom tj spikes three times over the last couple of years because I prefer the big sole/heel compared to the thinner one on the nike zoom tj 2 spikes. however was wondering if anyone has worn the zoom tj 2’s and thinks the cushioning is suffcicient/insufficient. Also, I’m tempted to abandon my principles and get the new zoom tj 3 spikes. Problem is that they’re only out in the US and I can’t find anywhere which ships them to the UK. Any ideas? I realise this is pretty geeky but I wanna get them in time for the indoor season

I wore the TJ 2’s all last season and loved them. I went from wearing the jumpstar all-around (hated them) and upgraded to the TJ 2’S and never looked back. I’ve never had any heel problems with either shoe though. I’ve also never worn the original nike TJ spikes so I wouldn’t know. TJ 2s had ample heel support and looked pretty cool.

yea thats what i’ve heard from other people who have worn the tj 2’s but the problem is that i’ve been wearing the original zoom tj’s for ages and they defo have more cushioning than the newer versions and so am used to it. ok, think i might just man up, get the new ones and see what happens

I have been checking the start fitness site for a while, and just noticed the new Nike HJ and LJ spikes are available, but the TJ3 is not. Might be worth contacting them and asking

alright buddy, havn’t heard from you in a while! how’s things? yea i rang them the other day and they weren’t sure exactly when they were gonna get the new ones in, plus i prefer the cushioning of the old ones so i just bought the original zoom tj’s again. have bought them 4 times now!

Matt, Things are good thanks. Hows things your end?
I have bought the same pair of spikes 3 maybe 4 times too, i think there are a solid shoe and like yourself a bit reluctant to try something else, particularly when its an internet buy and you dont have the access to try them on prior to purchase.
Ive heard Mizuno produce really good TJ spikes, but the durability is questionable. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
