Estimating the limit to my sprinting?

At 14, I ran 14.8 for the 100m. I joined the nearest club, worked just on the track three times a week, no weights nor diet plan. At 15 I ran 11.9. Now 16, with a Strength and Conditioning Coach and a dietary plan, I run 11.6.

This minor progression in the last year has made me wonder if I am reaching my peak?

    Kind Regards

I doubt you would be reaching your peak at this stage, firstly because your actual age is still low, and also your ‘training age’, as you’ve only been training a couple of years.

The amount that comes off your PB each year will gradually taper off the faster you get, going from 14, to 13 to 12 seconds can be achieved quite quickly with basic technique and regular training. But going from 12 to 11 would take considerably longer, as the amount left to improve gets smaller, the effort required to take off those extra 10ths increases exponentially.
