Training Shoes, Spikes, & Equipment
Is there any type of pad/spikes/adapter, etc that will allow me to do block starts on Field Turf without tearing up the surface? Any advice/suggestion is appreciated.
I’m using the Gill Collegiate starting block if that matters …
could you put a stack of hurdles behind it or on the back?
If your there training with other athletes, take turns standing on any kind of rectangular block (steel/concrete/wooden) while the other practices his starts. See if that works.
Tent pegs, and the spikes in the blocks should be fine IMO
