At first some of the exercises seemed a bit odd, but I focused my thoughts on the spirit of coming back instead of questioning other people’s methodology. I only did a few sprint sessions with Will while he was up in Boston, but last night seeing him on the field was the first emotional response I have had as a coach. I was watching the Giants and Cowboy game and heard his name and my ears perked. When you know the story behind the story, it’s more than just a football game. Injuries are often more mental than physical, but the ability to get back requires more than just good rehab and training. Classy, humble, hungry, Will Blackmon is one of the best athletes I have worked with period. A 100m champion and simply a marvel in athleticism, I am rooting for Will.
