Selected training clips from Athletic Lab (8.29.11)

I have a new intern following me whose been able to video tape some more of our practices which is good because my attention is less divided and it means we can put more video content from my elite group’s training on the site. This particular video is similar to the others in this continuing series in that the video is uncensored and unedited so feel free to critique or ask questions and I’ll try to follow up with why we’re doing what we’re doing and what I’m working on with each athlete. This session took place on August 29th, 2011. For those unfamiliar my group has a mix of sprinters, hurdlers, multi-eventers, and jumpers. At this point, they were pretty all doing exactly the same thing with some minor modifications. This was a mid-week lower intensity day during a recovery / test week. It corresponds with THIS POST in Eric Broadbent’s training journal.
