One manual that was added to my personal collection last night was Stryka Snabbhet, a great read for those that coach the sprints and jumps. What was interesting was the unique perspective Jan Melen had with plyometrics, very different from the American style of power training. For me I have similar conclusions but it made me think about how we train the nervous system with regards to loading jump training throughout the year. Another topic of discussion was the role of the lower leg in muscle recruitment of the hip musculature, something often talked about but never described in detail. I will upload a few pages and will only be able to send out 20 copies because of shipping. The manual is 70 pages and I will contact Jan today about getting here on Elitetrack.com. Another update is that Ralph Manns book will be available soon as it’s with the publisher doing the final printing very soon.
