I am not advocating anything specific training wise, but I find it interesting to see what others do to develop athleticism, not just weight numbers. Clearly a 400 pound bench press is impressive for his frame, but I think he gets a lot out of that lift because of his total body coordination. I love the javelin and cherished the cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki when I was able to watch a Javelin only competition at the ship’s bar. Many great quarterbacks were gifted in the event, such as Terry Bradshaw, and I think the footwork makes javelin athletes very agile. Throwing is not just about being blessed with a great arm, but the ability to use your entire body like a bullwhip.
