Plyometric Training Books

Plenty of people requested more plyometric materials. Most of us have Jimmy Radcliffe’s book, and if you don’t, get it. Gilles Cometti has a great option with La Pliometria (Spanish) and it’s amazing how much you can get from it without being fluent in spanish. For example, the El Trabajo con Plintos illustrates a series of low boxes being used with either one landing between them or two. While looking subtle, the choice of going from jumping off the box to right back on it or jumping off it it to the ground and onto the ground again is a considerable difference. With many cognates and plenty of illustrations and infographics everyone should get La Pliometria. What I like is the very specific protocols and how many athletes besides Werner Gunthor have benefited from the material.
