Monitoring Recovery

Many coaches will send a lot of time capturing tendo scores and RPE on training templates, but a simple module of recovery collection at the conclusion of training is very useful. Here is one similar to the method that Dr. Sands described at the BSMPG last summer. What is different about this particular set-up is the joint and soft tissue differences. Many teams in the pro leagues for soccer have athletes from all over the world and sometime pictures is the way to collect data. By using a high DPI printer you can get a lot of information without much time and effort. Recovery doesn’t have to be Omegawave and blood sampling, it can be very pragmatic to teams looking for the edge.
