Corrective Interventions

How much does training just improve the body’s function without direct corrective exercise? Mladen’s blog seems to make me think why some program seem to create healthy athletes with very primitive programs and others with teams of experts seem to be scratching their heads on why they have hamstring injuries all the time. I think general exercise can help wash away some of the imbalances without jumping into a PT clinic or corrective exercise program. Many HS coaches don’t have access to sports medicine staff that the elites have and training has to be very precise or it may spell time loss. One interesting change is now 10 major D1 programs have integrated the ideas of the PCA and training = testing and testing = training concept. What I am interested in why some programs are able to be pain and injury free more than some and how did they do it through training means.
