Catching Up- HPC DVD Sale & Upcoming Coaching Ed Schools

0

Well it’s been about 3 months since my last blog entry and probably not too much shorter since my last meaningful forum post. I was caught up in a whirlwind of 70+ hour work weeks and lots of business related travel. Thankfully being busy is a good thing for a business owner on a new venture. But now that I’ve tied up a couple projects I think I should have at least a little reprieve for the next couple weeks where I can at least hit up ELITETRACK a couple times a week. I hope everyone had a great Christmas..

Speaking of Christmas, now that it’s over it’s time to treat yourself to a couple gifts. To help out with a little self-indulgence, HPC is offering a New Years sale. All individual DVDs are 30% off ($24.46 to $27.97) and books and DVD bundles are 5-10% off their already discounted prices. This sale will last until January 10th 31st, 2010. At the end of this post are some teasers from some of our more popular offerings.

While I’m at the shameless promotion, I’ll also point out I’ll be teaching at several upcoming USATF Level 1 Coaching Education schools this month. If you haven’t gone through Level 1 yet, get with the program and sign up for one of these classes. As a reminder, if you would like to attend the Level 2 school this summer you’ll need to complete your Level 1 class and pass the test before the end of February so these are among your last chances. Here’s the info (click on the link for the brochure PDF):

  • University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Charlotte, NC on January 8-10 with Andrew Allden, Glen McAtee, and myself
  • Bowie State University; Bowie, MD on January 15-18 with Loren Seagrave, Andrew Allden, Glen McAtee, and myself

As promised here are some teasers from some of our more popular DVD offerings:

Maximal Velocity Sprint Mechanics

Biomotor Development for Speed-Power Athletes

Block Starts and Acceleration Mechanics

Dynamic Warmup Considerations for Speed-Power Athletes
