Upcoming Opportunities for Coaching Education

0

Coaching education is the foundation of being a successful coach. I have been very fortunate to have had incredible academic and coaching mentors who have provided me the opportunities to learn and develop. While I have taught countless hours for USATF over the past couple years I have now permanently moved away from all USATF coaches education administrative and teaching duties and am working completely with USTFCCCA’s coaches academy. Here are some of my upcoming gigs for the USTFCCCA’s coaches academy:

USTFCCCA Technical Certification:  The curriculum covers all key aspects of technical coaching. Each section is illustrated with pertinent, specific, animated video created specifically for this course, to enhance clarity and understanding. Topics included in the course are workout planning, administration of training, techniques, and teaching progressions for all commonly contested Track & Field events.

USTFCCCA Course 409: Sports Science for the Endurance Events: A 12 hour course in the applied sports science of the endurance events. It constitutes a portion of the requirements for the Master’s Endorsement in Middle Distance, Long Distance, Racewalking, and Cross Country.
