Make ELITETRACK Better: Rate the Articles and Blogs

2

My next request to make ELITETRACK better is to rate the articles and blog entries on the site. There are thousands of visitors to the site every day yet the daily blog entries average about 10 ratings a piece since the rating system was implemented. The articles are rated even more infrequently. How is this going to make ELITETRACK better you may wonder? How about these two points:

  • It offers you an opportunity to have an indirect vote or a say on what is written on the site. While I don’t want to speak for others, I feel confident that all of the other blog contributors on the site write there blogs with the intent to be thought provoking and informative. By providing your feedback by way of rating the blogs you help direct the blog contributors on what readers want to read the most.
  • It allows us to rank the top articles and top blogs on the site. This type of thing can be especially useful as the site continues to grow because it ensures oldies but goodies do not get forgotten.

Rating blog entries and articles is ridiculously simple. Just scroll over the stars and select the one you want. You don’t have to go to a special page and the page doesn’t need to reload. It literally takes no time at all so please do it. In fact, go back and read some old blog entries and articles. There are lots of great ones that were published long the rating system was ever implemented and don’t have a single vote.
